Located on the eastern shore of Lake Norman in Mooresville is the beautiful community of The Harbour at the Pointe.

The community, which was started in 1992, is located on a peninsula off Brawley School Road before it turns south toward The Point and Trump National Golf Club Charlotte.

Though you might feel far removed from modern conveniences on your lakeside lot, it is only a short drive to shopping, dining and interstate access. West Plaza Drive’s Winslow Bay Commons and Mooresville Consumer Square are only 6 miles northeast of the neighborhood.

Access to I-77 is also located at West Plaza Drive. Cornelius, Huntersville and Davidson are all fewer than 15 minutes away! All of the towns have great shopping and dining options, the college town of Davidson has an eclectic, young vibe. Birkdale Village is about 25 minutes from The Harbour at the Pointe.

Statesville is approximately 30 minutes to the north via I-77, and Uptown Charlotte and the airport are approximately 45 minutes away depending on traffic.

Within the neighborhood, walking trails lead you through the tall pines to the community clubhouse and Junior Olympic-sized pool. A playground, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts are also available for resident use. For the golfers of the family, Trump National is only 5 minutes down the road. There are several other fantastic courses in the Lake Norman area.

Though the pool is nice, the focal point of the neighborhood is spectacular Lake Norman! There is a community marina, storage lot and boat ramp for homes without deeded boat slips.

The Harbour at the Pointe homes are sized from approximately 2,300 square feet and up. There is a home currently listed (June 2016) that is more than 7,000 square feet. There are waterfront, water view and interior home lots available. All the waterfront homes have deeded slips.

The last year’s sales prices have ranged from the high-$300,000s to nearly $1.2 million.

A total of 17 homes sold in The Harbour at the Pointe in the last 12-month period. The average sales price for the neighborhood was $572,600 and nearly $166 per square foot. Sales averaged approximately 97% of list price.

Currently, there are 27 homes listed for sale in The Harbour at the Pointe. Only 6 of the homes are under contract as of June 4.

List prices range from $350,000 for an interior, 2,383-square-foot house to nearly $1.7 million for a 7,200-square-foot waterfront property. Eight of the properties are listed at more than $1 million and are all waterfront homes.

The neighborhood is zoned for the Iredell-Statesville schools of Lake Norman Elementary, Brawley Middle School and Lake Norman High School.
