Robbins Park is a multi-phase development located off West Catawba Avenue near the Westmoreland Athletic Complex.

It is just a short walk from Robbins Park to nearby Birkdale Village and the beautiful Lake Norman shoreline. I-77 access is less than 2 miles away on Sam Furr Road, and I-485 is 8 miles south. A commute into metro Charlotte is approximately 20 miles from Robbins Park.

Daily necessities are within 5 minutes of home if you live in Robbins Park.

In addition to the adjacent athletic complex, Jetton, Ramsey Creek and Blythe Landing parks are all less than 10 minutes away. Boat ramp access is available at both Blythe Landing and Ramsey Creek. Ramsey Creek also has a newly opened public swimming area (2016).

Begun in 2011, Robbins Park and the residential Robbins Park Retreat and Preserve is a collaboration between Mecklenburg County, Cornelius and Westmoreland Lake LLC. Its first phase opened in 2011, and the second phase opened in April 2015.

Walking trails connect to nearby neighborhoods as well as the paved McDowell Creek Greenway, which runs on the eastern end of the neighborhood. Just across Catawba Avenue is a Lake Norman marina and boat club.

Classica Homes is currently building the single-family homes in the Preserve at Robbins Park. There are both new homes and resale homes currently listed for sale.

Thirty-five Robbins Park homes sold in the last 12 months. The sales were a mix of new construction and resale properties.

The average sales price for those 35 properties was $680,403 and $185 per square foot. Sales actually averaged 1.4% above list price for the last 12 months.

Twelve homes are currently listed for sale in Robbins Park. Seven of the homes are resale properties with prices ranging from $559,000 to $1.285 million. The new homes are priced from the high $600,000s to the mid-$900,000s. Six of the homes are under contract as of June 1.

The neighborhood is zoned for CMS’s Washam Elementary School, Bailey Middle School and William Amos Hough High School.
